These Messaging Program Terms govern the text messages that Stepping Stones Investment Properties, LLC ("Stepping Stones," "we," "us," or "our") sends to its tenants. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these terms.
Program Description
Stepping Stones sends account and property notifications to its tenants by text message. These messages include rent reminders, payment confirmations, maintenance updates, and secure one-time sign-in links for the resident portal at rent.ssinm.com.
How Consent Is Obtained
You opt in only by a separate, affirmative action: by entering your mobile number and checking a consent box (unchecked by default) in the Text Alerts section at ssinm.com, or by turning on the optional text-updates toggle (off by default) in the resident portal. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of signing a lease, renting, paying rent, using the resident portal, or receiving any Stepping Stones service. Consent to receive text messages is never bundled with a lease or any transaction. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time, as described below, without affecting your tenancy.

Opting Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. After you send STOP, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages to you.
